MUSCAT -- Toshiyuki Shiga the Chief Operating Officer of Nissan Motor Co Ltd is visiting Oman today. Toshiyuki Shiga has been associated with Nissan Motor Co, Ltd since 1976, as soon as he graduated out of the Faculty of Economics from the prestigious Osaka Prefecture University. His dedication to the company's progress during his tenure and immense contribution in Nissan's spectacular growth has taken him to his top designation in the company. Shiga supervises the company's operations in Japan, General Overseas Market (GOM) and China. He is also responsible for global marketing and sales, and conversion business, Total Customer Satisfaction Function (TCSX), Human Resources and Treasury.

Nissan's impressive performance in GOM and recent, major developments are the prime reason for Shiga's visit to the Sultanate. Nissan's operations in Oman has always been studded with brilliant landmarks. Besides having the largest Nissan showroom in the world and the largest warehousing facility in the region, the company has also consistently recorded superior performance in business and sales. This year has been particularly notable for Nissan in Oman with triumphs in every sphere. Recording a stupendous growth in business this year, Suhail Bahwan Automobiles, the national dealers of Nissan vehicles, has entered into a huge development project, making multi-million dollar investments. This outlay is all set to further reap astonishing sales.

Their prime objective this year has been to reach out to more and more customers and provide them with even better service, through a well-connected network of new showrooms and outlets. The first landmark towards this step was the launch of Nissan's Salalah showroom during Khareef. Taking off from the beautiful city of Salalah in southern Oman, Suhail Bahwan has treaded through the Sultanate to make its presence felt in Seeb, Rustaq, Ibri, Sinaw and Bidaya.

Suhail Bahwan Automobiles has also well catered to their after-sales service by inaugurating the largest Nissan parts outlet of the region at Al Amerat. Spread across an area of 16,500 square meters, the Al Amerat warehouse has the capacity to have a huge stock of genuine parts, which will be available at any point of time, 96 per cent parts availability for all models of Nissan, Renault and Infiniti cars. Besides inaugurating fresh models and offering successful deals through the year, this year was also one for innovation. Suhail Bahwan Automobiles launched the 4X4 Nissan Rabitat, the first-ever exclusive club as an ode to the fiery spirit of their SUV customers and a superb extension of their brilliant SUV line-up. Toshiyuki Shiga's visit to Oman is yet another highlight in Nissan's gleaming presence in the Sultanate.
