A market to help local farmers sell fresh produce, and create community awareness about agriculture, has been opened at Oasis Mall Riffa.
This is the second farmers’ market being run by the mall, after the first one last December at Oasis Mall Muharraq.
The market, which will be open every Saturday and Sunday between 8am and 12.30pm until March 29, features more than 15 stalls run by farmers to sell fresh vegetables, fruit and local spices and pickles.
Traditional Bahraini breakfast dishes will also be sold during market hours.
