Dubai: NCC Urban Infrastructure Limited, a subsidiary of Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited (NCCL) - a leading construction conglomerate in India, yesterday unveiled NCC Harmony, an Dh1.5 billion mixed-use freehold development at Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park (DuBio-tech).

NCC Harmony, a twin tower project of 2.3 million square feet built-up area at DuBiotech - the free zone dedicated to biotechnology, pharmaceutical and life sciences, will be the company's first project in Dubai. The project is located at the heart of New Dubai, in close proximity to Arabian Ranches, Dubailand and prominent shopping centres.

NCC Harmony is backed by the expertise of NCCL, an ISO 9001-14001-18001 certified group rated by Forbes Asia among the 'Best Under Billion' listed companies in Asia Pacific (2005). With an annual turnover of Dh3 billion, NCCL is one of the largest construction groups in India.

Construction of NCC Harmony has already begun with contracts for excavation, piling and shoring being awarded to Dutch Foundation and Concrete Processing Co. LLC. Tecom Investments are the master developers of DuBiotech. Slated for completion in May 2010, the development will encompass two 32-level towers - one residential and one hotel apartment - with studio, single-bedroom and double-bedroom apartments offering fully-equipped accommodation to those working in New Dubai locality.
