The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) on Wednesday announced the launch of Fitbit Pay™, the first contactless payment solution in Kuwait that will allow its customers to pay for goods and services anytime, being the first local bank in Kuwait to offer this service.

The new service builds on NBK’s commitment to offering seamless, secure, and advanced payment solutions in line with its customers’ ever-changing needs, according to a press release.

Commenting on the new development, general manager of consumer banking group, NBK, Mohammed Al Othman, said, “Users can make faster and secure payments for their purchases anywhere that offers contactless payments by adding select credit cards to their Fitbit Wallet via the Fitbit app.”
