Abu Dhabi, 6 May 2010 (WAM) - The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City held a lecture entitled "Customer-Focused Strategy" delivered by Prof. Don Peppers; pioneer and founder of "customer-centered strategy", in the context of a comprehensive plan developed by the Municipality to improve its services with the aim of achieving full satisfaction of customers as well as the whole community through advocating a drive encompassing plans, projects & events geared to meet all customer needs.
The above seminar was held under a methodology adopted by the Municipality to reach out to customers with diverse segments, requirements and whereabouts in a handy manner that saves their time & effort, wins their satisfaction and sets the path for the Municipalitys future drive. Such a drive is set to enhance the leading role of the Municipality and boost its corporate identity in the context of a comprehensive strategy aiming at building an integrated model that adds to the Municipalitys impressive array of excellent services. Engineer Mohsin Al Jabri, Director of Strategic Planning Division, reviewed the transition in the strategic plan of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City 2009 2013 towards adopting customer centricity model, and creating strategic partnerships with local departments of Abu Dhabi Government with the aim of realizing the common strategic objectives. Through holding lectures and similar events, the Municipality seeks to upgrade the class of customer services & capitalize on the international practices in a way that serves to the customers interest in the first respect. The lecture focused on realigning all corporate procedures to serve the ambitions and expectations of customers and shed light on four key pivotal customer service aspects vis- -vis introduction, identification, allocation and updating the latest customer service styles, procedures & practices adopted worldwide. The seminar was attended by a host of employees from the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, and the Municipalities of Al Ain & Western Region, as well as representatives of the strategic partners among local departments, private businesses and non-profit organizations.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2010.
