ArabFinance: Sweets maker Monginis intends to invest EGP 200 million in the Egyptian market over the coming two years, Amwal al Ghad cited Business Development Director Osama Soliman on December 14th.

The company plans to use this amount in opening 100 new branches, which are expected to create about 3,000 job opportunities, Soliman elaborated.

Monginis currently operates through 100 units across Cairo, Giza, Minya, Ismailia, and other governorates, the official added.

He noted that the company would launch seasonal stores in tourism cities, including Hurghada, Ain Sokhna, and Sharm el Sheikh.

Monginis is also building a new factory in El Sadat City to increase their production capacity, Soliman said.

The company earlier revealed that the industrial facility has EGP 150 million in investments.
