Dubai Arab men’s names always have a meaning that is extracted from Arabic and the rich history of Islam, with men usually named after prophets and leaders. For example, Mohammad is the name of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Eisa is the name of Prophet Eisa. Khalid is the name of the famous leader and commander Khalid Ibn Al Walid.

Abdullah is an ancient name of Arabic origin, and means the servant of God, the name is very well known in Arabic and Muslim nations.

Rashid is of Arabic origin, and means rightly guided; the name takes two variant forms, Rashid and Rashed and it’s widely used in the UAE and the Gulf, its nickname is Rashoud, people are called this name after Harun Al Rashid, who was one of the greatest Abbasid Caliphs in Iraq. He accomplished a great deal in the scientific and cultural fields during his reign.

Other Emirati names are Sultan which means ruler, Mansour means victorious, Saeed means blissful and Ali means sublime.
