Middle East Media Marketing (MEM) has introduced a distinctive different advertising media through its state-of-the-art Dynamic Digital Advertising Network LED signs situated at key points throughout the Kingdom.

"This is the first time that an LED advertising network has been offered to clients in the Middle East region," Chairman of MEM / GMI Group, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa said as he launched the network at a Press meet on Thursday.

The LED screens he said are located at prime locations so that a maximum number of people will view the adverts. Locations include the Bahrain International Airport, Adliya, Seef, Juffair and Diplomatic Area, he added

Advertisers have the opportunity to run their advertisements across all five screens simultaneously and the advertisement can range from as little as 5 seconds to 60 seconds duration. In addition, it can run for just one day, part of a day or a year. It all depends on the clients requirements.

The new screens are among the most advanced in the region and operate through interet and satellite connection. These high tech form of advertisement represent a leap in the advertising industry for the Kingdom, Shaikh Ali noted

First Leasing Bank in Bahrain provided the financing for the project. The LED were bought from BARCO the Belgian global technology company which selected the Kingdom for its strategic location to launch its product in the region. Shaikh Ali said that MEM had plans to increase the LED network further in Bahrain in partnership with Out-Of-Home media group.
