SARI, Mazandaran - Some 2,273 tons of agricultural products was exported from this northern province in the seventh month of the current Iranian year (September 23-October 22).
In the fifth and sixth months of the year (Mordad and Shahrivar), Mazandaran exported more than 1,000 tons of agro products, including raisins, tobacco, and tea, mainly to Russia and Turkmenistan. In the last Iranian year, some 27,740 tons of agricultural commodities and flowers, valued at $18m, were exported from Mazandaran Province, which covers an area over 2.4 million hectares of land on the Caspian Sea coastlines in northern Iran.
