Dubai, 25 Aug. 2009 (WAM) - H.H. Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Foundation (Dubai Culture) opened last night the Holy Quran Exhibition, organised by the Farjam Group at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The exhibition features rare Quranic manuscripts dating back to the 3rd and 13th Hijri centuries, as well as calligraphy works. The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr Omer Mohammed Ahmed Sulaiman, Governor of the DIFC and Managing Director of Dubai Culture.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2009.
