MANAMA: Local farmers have been allocated a new section at the Central Market in Manama to sell their fresh produce. Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf announced the project.

The new facility, which covers 1,000sqm, accommodates 40 stalls distributed to 40 farmers.

“The vegetables market will open early every morning and close at 10am.

The extension follows directives from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty King Hamad and National Initiative for Agricultural Development consultative council president.
