President of Lebanon Michel Suleiman and the delegation accompanying him arrived here Saturday to participate in Kuwait's national celebrations.
The President will be participating in Kuwait's 50th Anniversary of Independence, the 20th Liberation Day, and the Fifth year of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's rule.
The Lebanese leader was received at Kuwait International Airport by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Speaker of the National Assembly Jassem Al-Kharafi, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister of State for Development, Minister of State for Housing Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Head of His Highness the Amir's office Ahmad Fahad Al-Fahad, Head of the Amiri Protocols Sheikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, and senior officials of the Army, Police, and KNG.
The honorary delegation for the President will be headed by Minister of Commerce and Industry Ahmad Al-Haroun.
