KUWAIT: The Ministry of Public Works is currently working on a project to construct six multipurpose parking lots for the Ministry's hospitals. This is in addition to creating more inter-connected passageways to shift patients who have undergone surgical procedures. This project will cost around KD 18 million.

Project Engineer Nabeel Makki said that the project is a part of the Ministry's plan to execute ministries' other projects and government departments around the country, reported Al-Rai. He further elaborated by saying that the new project will provide Al-Farwaniya hospital with a 1,024 capacity parking lot, Al-Razi hospital will be awarded a capacity of 976, Al-Adan with a capacity of 980, Al-Jahra a capacity of 1,006, Al-Adan with a capacity of 1,007 and Mubarak with a parking space capacity of 978.
