KUWAIT, April 26 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's volleyball team failed on Thursday to stop Al-Arabi from winning in the premier 11th Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad League (Kuwait Volleyball League), which was held in Al-Arabi hall.
The match ended with three clean sets (25-16, 25-16 and 25-18) with Arabi imposing their game style and successfully controlling the game from start.
The first and second sets began with Arabi aggressively dominating the game while Kuwait struggled to cope.
Kuwait, in the third set, showed some resistance, however Arabi skilled and experience players knew how to regain strength and win the last and final set.
Other volleyball matches today included Al-Qadsiya against Al-Tadamun which witnessed a defeat for the latter with the score 25-16, 25-11 and 25-22.
Finally, Kazma volleyball team won easily over Al-Sahel 26-24, 25-13 and 28-25.
After concluding the third stage of the premier league, Arabi still heads the table with 16 points while Al-Qadsiya follows it with 15 points.
The two teams will meet on May 3rd in a heated match.
