KUWAIT: Hawally detectives yesterday rounded up a Pakistani a drug dealer named Bar Akbar. He has been in the illicit business for four years. On being tipped off, the cops kept a watch on his movements and noticed that he supplies drug free to teenage clients in the beginning and made use of them in distributing it to others. An undercover agent struck a deal with Akbar in Khaitan for quarter kilogram heroin and held him while delivering the stuff. Another 1.750 kilogram heroin was recovered from the man's Khaitan home. Woman gang-raped Fareeda, an Indian housemaid was at a Jahra commercial centre for some shopping, when three men in local dress kidnapped her. The abductors took off with her to the Sabbiya desert where they raped her in turns threatening the woman with a gun. Later the men ditched their victim in the old Jahra City.
The woman gave the descriptions of her tormentors to the police. The search is still on. Parlour blaze Unidentified miscreants broke the windows and set ablaze a beauty parlour in Naseem area in Jahra yesterday. Investigations are still going on to identify the criminals. Earlier the Kuwaiti owner of another beauty shop reported to police that his shop has been set on fire. Police is investigating whether any theft took place before the arson. Court sentence The Felony court of the 10th district overturned the death sentence of Humoud Fahad Al-Hajiri who was accused in a drug-related offence. Minister clarifies Awqaf Minister Abdullah Al Maatooq said that extremist ideologies were not originated from the mosques. Recent police campaigns indicated that radicals were taking refuge in chalets and camps. The minister asserted there was no place in his ministry for those who follow the "Fatwas" on the Internet. Security sources, however, revealed that the dreaded terrorist in the Amer Khlaif case was an Imam in a mosque at Alwaha in Jahra.
