Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence, part of Jumeirah Group, said this week it has become the first mixed-use property in Dubai to be accredited with the internationally renowned Green Globe Certification (GGC). The certificate was awarded after the property implemented energy saving initiatives related to water resources, the environment, reduced operational costs and for meeting guest and residents’ expectations of green leisure and business travel, it said in a statement. It added that throughout 2014, Jumeirah Living will adopt new green initiatives as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programme and now joins Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah Emirates Towers who have already gained the prestigious award for their commitment to the environment.
