Amman - Chairman of the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission, Khaled Toukan, on Saturday, said the commission will sign in Moscow in February with Rosatom, a Russian nuclear power company, an agreement to develop Kingdom's first nuclear power plant for peaceful uses.
Tukan said in a statement that the agreement is not a contract to build the station but related to the development of the project, adding that the commission will work in parallel in the negotiations for the signing of an agreement between the governments of the two countries to lay the foundations of the project.
