A total of 642 Bahraini jobseekers holding various qualifications have been employed in 403 private companies and institutions from December 26 to 30.
According to updated figures released by the Labour and Social Development Ministry, 353 other jobseekers had benefited from various training programmes during the period.
A total of 26,344 jobseekers have so far been employed in 6,826 enterprises, exceeding the targeted 25,000 in the second edition of the National Employment Programme 2021.
The number of jobseekers who have received training has reached 12,841 to date, exceeding the 10,000 target for 2020.
