The Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.
The MoU was at the end of the 20th Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission meeting in Tehran.
A Pakistani economic delegation arrived in Tehran on Sunday to attend the 20th Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission meeting.
The two-day meeting was held during April 17-18 in Tehran.
The meeting also studied avenues to increase volume of trade exchange to $5 billion.
