Global hotel operator InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced on Monday it has signed a management agreement with Kingston Holdings International Limited to develop a new Holiday Inn & Suites in Business Bay in Dubai.
The 350-room Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Business Bay will form part of a mixed-use development that includes 400 residences and a small boutique shopping arcade, the company said in a press statement.
The hotel is expected to start operations in 2021, the statement added.
IHG’s hotel pipeline in the Business Bay area includes a Hotel Indigo, a Crowne Plaza and an InterContinental Residences.
The company currently has 80 hotels operating across five of the company’s brands in the Middle East region with a further 27 in the development pipeline, according to the statement.
