Under the deal, the Hyatt brand will return to the Egyptian capital with Hyatt Regency Cairo West, set to be inaugurated by the fourth quarter of 2020, according to a statement on Tuesday.

The new hotel will be the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Egypt, along with Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh.

Located in Pyramids Heights Business Park, Hyatt Regency Cairo West will provide its guests with easy access to a wide range of attractions and landmarks, including Giza Pyramids as well as the soon-to-be-opened the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and Giza Sphinx International Airport.

The hotel will include 242 guestrooms and suites, seven meeting rooms, and a grand ballroom accommodating a total of 500 guests.
