Abu Dhabi: Abdullah Humaid, a UAE national team showjumper, proved his worth by winning the first and second places in the feature event at the weekend's showjumping competitions held at Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club.
Humaid partnered Tip Top to win the Class 4: A2 (One Round Against The Clock) event and also bagged second place when his second entry on Quatro-H also did well.
Humaid and Tip Top completed in a winning time of 59.57 seconds while on Quatro-H, Humaid took 64.29 seconds for his second-place finish.
Abdullah Mohammad Al Merri from Emirates Equestrian Centre on Randor K (67.89 seconds) finished third in the feature event.
More laurels
Shaikh Ali Bin Abdullah Al Qasimi earned more laurels for Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club. According to a Federation press release, Ali on Tisanto secured top place (43.80 seconds) in Class 7: B1, A2 (One Round with Jump-Off) which was held in two sections.
Abdul Rahman Salim Al Ka'abi from Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club finished second on Jeudi de La Chenee.
In Section A2, Arif Ahmad Jasem from Emirates Equestrian Centre finished first on Arielle and Khalid Ali Al Junaibi second on Justes Desfi.
