Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel in a meeting with the Head of Arab Transitional Parliament here Monday said, "We welcome dialogue and negotiation with neighboring and Muslim countries and support the idea of Iran-Arab talks." Haddad-Adel said the idea of dialogue with Muslim countries and holding talks between Iran and the Arabs will strengthen
understanding, consolidate friendly ties and unity which are in favor of the Islamic world.
Majlis speaker also praised creating Arab Transitional Parliament by the Arab countries and described the action a step for more proximity and unity among the countries.
Expounding on the activities of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), Haddad-Adel said the APA and Arab Transitional Parliament (ATP) complete each other.
Speaker of Arab Transitional Parliament and Head of Foreign Policy Commission of Kuwait parliament Muhammad Jassim al-Saqar, for his part, called for expansion and deepening of cooperation and relations between Iran-Kuwait parliaments.
He said Iran-Arab dialogue is constructive and useful for future cooperation and forming a proper understanding.
