Muscat - Gulf Infotech LLC, a leading cloud computing solutions provider in the sultanate, was declared an Arabia 500 winner for 2012 by Allworld Network.

Gulf Infotech is the only Oman-based company to bag the award for the fastest growing companies of 2012 with a year-on-year growth rate of 95 per cent.

Arabia 500 is an initiative by Allworld Network to discover the fastest growing transparent private companies of the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan. This award is given to companies with a minimum three years of operations and a minimum of US$500,000 in sales and innovation, a press release said.

Rahul Bhavsar, CEO of Gulf Infotech, said, "This is a very prestigious honour and we are very delighted about the award, coming from a prestigious institution like Allworld Network. We would like to thank our clients for their continuous support."

Gulf Infotech is the Google enterprise partner for the MENA region. Last year, SME development financier GroFin had invested in the firm and is now an equity partner.
