KUWAIT CITY: For the second consecutive year, Gulf Bank reaffirmed its commitment to young entrepreneurs in Kuwait by sponsoring the 'Proud 2 be Kuwaiti' (P2BK) forum, an annual event designed to promote new business initiatives in Kuwait.  A key highlight of the event was the coming together of a dynamic group of budding young entrepreneurs and seasoned business experts, such as those from the Gulf Bank team.  With  the event taking place just prior to the  National Day and Independence Day celebrations, P2BK was the perfect opportunity to recognise and support young business talent in Kuwait.  This unique event was officially inaugurated on the 22nd February, and was under the patronage of  HE Rasheed Y. Al- Tabtabaei,  Under Secretary -Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MOCI)  A competition was held  during the P2BK forum recognizing  the best business idea and the best design.  The judging panel included : Faisal Al Dakheel, a former Kuwaiti football player; Hind Al-Nahedh, VIVA Communication and Public Relations Manager; Fatmah Al-Bader, Founder & Managing Director of Khatif Holding Company and Zeyad Al Duaij, Deputy Chairman & Managing Director of Masaleh Media Holding Company, who awarded winners with cash prizes.

Ceremony
The event was marked with an exclusive closing ceremony, hosted by Barakat Al Wogayyan under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, President of National Security Apparatus, Head of the KFA Interim Committee and President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, during which a short documentary movie about the Liberation of Kuwait was shown to attendees.  HE Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al Ahmad Al Jabir Al Sabah along with Dhari Al Wazzan, founder of P2BK honoured all sponsors by handing them mementos as a token of appreciation.
