DUBAI: Gargash Motors and General Trading LLC, a leading business house in Dubai, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Changsha Zoomlion Heavy Industry & Science (Zoomlion) China's number one state owned Concrete Machinery Manufacturer, covering the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Under the terms of the agreement, Gargash Motors will market and distribute Zoomlion's Concrete Machinery products in UAE. Zoomlion's concrete machinery has been awarded 159 patents for research and development efforts and has established 25 national industry standards in the designs of stationary pumps and truck mounted pumps.
Zoomlion's concrete machinery products include: Trailer Concrete Pumps, Truck-mounted Concrete Pumps, Truck Mixer, Concrete Placing Boom and Concrete Mixing Plants.

"This contract strengthens Zoomlion's market presence in the UAE significantly."
The construction sector in the UAE is among the biggest and fastest growing construction markets in the world and one of the leading non-oil sectors of economic growth in the country.
Zoomlion, which began its operations in the Middle East in 2004 when its first products came to Dubai, has already set up a 10,000 square meter facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, to store the concrete machinery and support the maintenance. The facility will also act as Zoomlion regional headquarters.
Since 2004, Zoomlion's revenues have been growing by an average of 50 percent per year. In 2006, this number jumped to 100 percent.

Gargash Motors and General Trading is in the process of setting up the new Zoomlion operation which will utilize existing facilities in Al-Quoz industrial area of Dubai. The trading arm of Gargash Motors has a lot of valuable experience in preparing and fulfilling complicated and demanding tenders for various customers. It has been successful at introducing new equipment in the local market and has a hydraulic workshop fully equipped to repair hydraulic systems.
This will be reinforced with additional equipment required and service personnel to handle break-downs and repairs of the machines in addition to a round-the-clock trouble-shooting service which will be made available to the customers by qualified technicians who will be mobile with fully equipped vehicles to undertake such tasks.
