Sharjah, May 1,2006 (WAM) -- More than 200 leading brands and over 150 companies from 24 countries will participate at the Front, Roof Middle East and Cladding Middle East exhibitions at Expo Centre Sharjah from May 2 - 4, 2006.

The Roof Middle East and Cladding Middle East are the region's only trade events for roof, cladding, and allied products, and will be held concurrently with Front, a fenestration and exterior fa?ade exhibition.

Front, an Expo Centre Sharjah initiative, will be in its second edition this year, and will display windows, doors (wooden, glass, aluminium, steel, automatic, crane doors etc..), grills, gates, shutters and sun protection, sun blinds and awnings, louver blinds, interior roller blinds, glass and glass products, paints and chemicals, door operating devices, roller blinds, drives and drive technology, raw materials, components and machinery, accessories, working and business safety, wall coverings, and locks and access control systems.

Roof Middle East and Cladding Middle East are being jointly organised by India's Unitech Exhibition and Expo Centre Sharjah and will be in its fourth series this time. The events will showcase roofing systems, architectural cladding, structural glazing, curtain walling, fa?ade engineering, metal building systems, skylights and domes, waterproofing, and insulation material.

The exhibition had made its debut in Mumbai, India, in 2003, and was subsequently held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2004, and again in Mumbai in 2005.

"Roof Middle East, Cladding Middle East, and Front are being held concurrently at the same venue with a view to integrate the regional construction sector," said Mr. Saif Al Midfa, Director General, Expo Centre Sharjah.

"By hosting the events together, we aim to provide the Middle East construction industry with an extended and one-stop sourcing platform," he added.

Talking about the participants at the exhibitions and the show size, Mr. Saif Al Midfa said: "Front, Roof Middle East, and Cladding Middle East, will feature some of the leading companies and brands from USA, UK, France, Austria, China, Australia, Germany, India, Belgium, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, United Kingdom, Turkey, Thailand, Sweden, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, Finland, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE. The events will together occupy two halls measuring 8,000 sq. m. at Expo Centre Sharjah." The Roof Middle East & Cladding Middle East exhibitions and Front are strictly trade only exhibitions and will attract architects, engineers, consultants, planners, interior designers, importers, contractors, traders, property managers, investors, and government officials from across the Middle East.

The exhibitions will be complemented by seminars and product presentations that will be held on the sidelines. They will be addressed by key players in the regional construction industry and will throw light on the latest innovations in construction related products and technologies and also address concerns facing the sector.
