Anyone who appreciates the tastes and sounds of Spain will soon have the chance to view one of the country's greatest musical exports the dance group known as Sentimiento Flamenco Feeling.

The renowned group, led by Juan Antonio de Los Reyes, has been on a tour of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, recently visiting Beirut and Cairo.

They have arrived in Dubai to join tonight's Spanish cultural event at the Fontana Restaurant in the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel.

The dance troupe works closely with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is hired to perform at dance festivals throughout the world.

Reyes is the choreographer and director of the Spanish group and his 33 years of work as a dancer has helped promote the art and culture of Spain on four continents, always meeting with great success.

Sentimiento Flamenco Feeling always provides the full range of Flamenco art and culture, along with Spanish classical and folkloric dance, performed by up to 20 dancers and musicians at venues of any size.

Juan explained: "Our group have 20 different uniforms and dances, each representing the diversity of traditions and cultures in the Spanish cities. The performance will be divided into three sets of 30 minutes shows. This is our fifth show in the UAE and the previous performances have been a major success."

He added: "Some 300 fans attended each of the first four shows and they danced wild with the lovely music and were extremely happy. Judging by the reaction we have received in the past, we are expecting the show to be very popular."

The event, themed as 'Food, Fiesta and Flamenco', features a magnificent entertainment programme and launches a weekly Spanish event on Monday nights at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel.

Visitors will have the chance to indulge in an authentic buffet offering culinary delights such as live cooking, tapas and paella, and sway to the rhythm of flamenco music and dancing.
