Dubai: An Al Rigga street restaurant’s chimney caught fire early on Thursday morning, a Dubai Civil Defence spokesperson said. The Dubai Civil Defence’s operation room received the call at around 10.20am and fire trucks were dispatched from Al Hamriyah civil defence station.
The spokesperson said the fire was small and was extinguished within in a few minutes. He said the blaze was caused by oil catching fire in the restaurant.
