Abu Dhabi, Dec 19th, 2010 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Judicial department has organized a training program on International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC)s Engineering Construction Agreement Dispute Adjudication for its Construction Department team.
The program organized in cooperation with Egypts Ain Shams University Law Center and was designed by ADJDs Human capital Development Section and included practicing engineers from several government department in Abu Dhabi. The program covered all aspects of engineering construction agreements and related legal issues, including the role played by experts in the adjudication and litigation processes as well as the basics adjudicators judgment drafting. It covered also The UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration and the draft of the UAE Commercial Arbitration Federal Law through several workshop on practical arbitration cases.
