DOHA: The organizing committee of the 20th World Petroleum Congress (WPC) says there has been a steady stream of exhibitor announcements connected with the WPC exhibition, which is being held alongside the Congress from Dec. 4-8.

The exhibition, which has been "sold out" for months, is set to become one of the biggest attractions for trade visitors in the region and the organizing committee expects a large number of trade visitors from the region to visit the exhibition halls of the Qatar National Convention Center.

The exhibition is set to be the preeminent show of its kind in the region and will be a highlight for many trade visitors seeking opportunities to keep abreast of the most advanced technology and service solutions in the world today.

The exhibitors represent the top echelon of companies in the world. They include Neste Oil, whose renewable aviation fuel offers drop-in solution for reducing emissions; Weatherford, which covers reservoir and well systems at 20th WPC; Golder Associates, which is to address a multidisciplinary approach to optimizing use of unconventional gas; BiTherm, which will outline Wireless Monitoring Technology and Intensive Maintenance concept; and VELOSI that will outline its Third Party Inspection and Certification services.

Some others are Sonangol, which seeks continued expansion of investment portfolio at WPC; Danish research centre, which is represented at 20th WPC; Deloitte, whose spokesperson anticipates further demergers and spin-offs in global oil and gas sector; Delta Doha Corporation, which is expanding its growth horizons; Emerson Industrial Automation, which showcases Redundant Control System and advanced panel boards as well as LED hazardous floodlights; Maxon, whose technology addresses process up-time with new safety shut-off valves and partial stroke test technology; Golder Associates, which participates in the Social Responsibility Global Village; and Hydra-Slide that presents eponymous hydraulic skidding systems.
