Euronet Middle East (ENME), a financial outsourcing-service provider in the Middle East and Gulf region, has signed an automatic-teller-machine and debit-card management services collaboration contract with the Dubai branch of Barclays Bank. Under the agreement, ENME will assist the bank in driving its newly established ATM network, offering services which include providing and processing the bank's debit-card portfolio and the provision of gateway services to the bank's international networks with Visa and the United Arab Emirates switch.
ENME services will also include the provision of a comprehensive network management, 24/7 monitoring, security, help desk and full reconciliation and settlement services. Provider general manager Mohamed Mousa said: "The fact that Barclays has chosen to use our services clearly demonstrates the company's successful growth within the UAE market and its leadership as the preferred outsourcing partner for banks within the Middle East and Gulf."
