Beirut (APD) - The Bosnia-based Energoinvest announced today that it has secured a $28.6 million contract to build a 400 Kilowatt power line in Algeria. The contract was won at an international tender which included companies from Spain, Italy and India.

Energoinvest Engineering Section will be responsible for the implementation of the project and construction should start in about two weeks.

In addition to Algeria, Energoinvest is also working on projects in Libya, totaling 25 million euros and comprising the development and expansion of an industrial river.

Energoinvest has multi-million dollar projects in a number of Arab countries, mainly Libya, Iraq, Algeria, and Kuwait.

Energoinvest is multidisciplinary engineering company with dominant export orientation. Its manufacturing core businesses is in the fields of electrical power, power transmission lines and machines and process equipment.
