Cairo, (SANA)- Egyptian Vice-President for Foreign Affairs Mohammed El-Baradei reiterated Egypt's keenness on finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria as soon as possible to achieve stability in the region.
The Egyptian The Middle East News Agency (MENA) said that El-Baradei discussed with UN envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi the latest developments in Syria and means of finding a political solution to the crisis.
MENA added that Brahimi reviewed the latest development in Syria and the efforts he exerted, in cooperation with the Arab and international parties, to find a solution to the crisis and hold an international conference on Syria for reaching a political solution to the crisis.
Earlier, Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy, stressed Egypt's firm stance towards finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria in a way that maintains its territorial integrity and national unity.
