Cairo –   The number of vessels docking at Egypt’s Port of Adabiya increased by 47% year-on-year (YoY) to 46 in August and 43% YoY to 37 in September, the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) announced.

In addition, the volume of general goods handled at the port surged by 65.67% to 600,285.91 tonnes in September and the volume of containers went up by 17.80% to 5,909, according to a statement on Tuesday.

Likewise, Ain Sokhna Port also witnessed a 32% YoY rise in the number of vessels to 38 in September, a 20% growth in the volume of containers to 65,551, a 281% hike in dry bulk to 594,062 tonnes, and a 243% increase in liquid bulk to 231,105 tonnes.
