Cairo – Mubasher: A technology zone has been established with an investment cost of EGP 430 million in the Egyptian city of New Beni Suef, the country’s prime minister Mostafa Madbouly said in a statement on Tuesday.

The total area of the technology zone amounts to 55 feddans, with the first phase spanning over 18.5 feddans, Madbouly revealed.

Construction works have been complete, while some remaining facilities are currently being established, he noted.

This project is part of a plan to set up five technology zones in the cities of Borg El-Arab, Sadat, 10th of Ramadan, New Assiut, New Beni Suef, and New Aswan in partnership between the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, he added.
