Cairo –  Egypt’s National Authority for Military Production signed a cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Newton to establish a new joint stock company to market products of military production companies abroad.

The new company will sell and market products of units affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production and provide the appropriate projects for commercial operations of the company all over the world, particularly the GCC countries, according to a statement on Thursday.

The agreement also includes fostering mutual cooperation in logistics, technical support, maintenance, and training fields.

In July, the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Newton to further develop the use of information technology applications in a host of economic and social sectors.
