The Economic Co-ordination Council held its first meeting of the year at the Diwan of the Royal Court yesterday. The meeting was presided over by Sayyid Ali bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court and Chairman of the Council.
The council discussed memoranda related to encouraging individual business initiatives and projects, legalising the practice of small businesses and facilitating the procedures of their registration with the authorities concerned. The aim is to provide employment opportunities for Oman job seekers and fresh investors.
