Orumiyeh - Head of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group Moayed Hosseini Sadr said that development of Razi-Kapi Koy border is effective to develop trade relations with Turkey and stability and security of the region.

He said with the development of Razi border, Iran and Turkey will take more effective strides in maintaining security of the region and preventing movements of extremist and terrorist groups and deprive terrorist groups of any provocative opportunity.

The parliamentarian further remarked that development of a border market and facilitation of transit of traders and border dwellers can be greatly effective in promoting trade and economic relations between Iran and Turkey.

Razi-Kapi Koy is the closest route between West Azarbaijan Province (in Iran) and the city of Van as one of the largest and touristic cities in east of Turkey.

Currently, Razi-Kapi Koy is the third official border between Iran and Turkey after Bazargan and Seru and is the fourth official border of West Azarbaijan Province.
