DUBAI, 24th August, 2014 (WAM)-- Two U.A.E.-based charity societies, the Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) and Beit Al Khair Society (BAKS) have sealed an agreement of cooperation to boost charity projects for the benefit of the poor and needy both locally and internationally.

The accord was signed by Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, Executive Director - DABS, and Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, General Manager - BAKS, at the headquarters of the Dar Al Ber Society on Sheikh Zayed road in Dubai.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Imran Abdullah, Member of Board of Directors and Head of Culture and Studies Sector ? DABS, Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Deputy Head of Culture and Studies Sector and Director of Activities and Events ? DABS, as well as Saeed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Deputy General Manager ? BAKS, and Abdullah Al Ustaz, Assistant General Manager ? BAKS.

Bin Zayed said the strategic partnership is a step forward towards streamlining and framing community collaboration in view of the mutual vision and humanitarian goals of the two parties.

"The strategic partnership, which is part of Dar Al Ber Society's productive cooperation with all entities of the society, is aimed to ease the suffering of the poor and needy, bring happiness to them and their families wherever they are, and enhance solidarity and human values locally and abroad as advised by Islam and in pursuance of the directives of the U.A.E. prudent leadership."Al Awadhi said the agreement will give a boost to charity and humanitarian relationships and mutual work between the two societies for providing high quality services to the poor and needy in the U.A.E. and around the world.

"The concord is a good chance to exchange information and expertise, and come up with a joint strategy for carrying out numerous projects, particularly those much needed for developing family stability and solidarity, and assisting low-income people here as per the social responsibility of the two associations."
