MUMBAI: The ‍Indian ‍rupee declined to a record low on Friday, as investor sentiment ‌on the currency remained bogged down by the absence of a trade deal with the U.S. while likely portfolio ‍outflows added to the pressure.

The rupee weakened to 90.5175 against the U.S. dollar, slipping past its previous all-time low of 90.4675 ‌hit on December 11. (Reporting ‌by Jaspreet Kalra; Editing by Mrigank Dhaniwala)
