Ras Al Khaimah, Jan 29th, 2012 (WAM) -- Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi opened today the 6th edition of the RAK Book Fair.
The RAK Book Fair, which is organized by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry will run from today until 7th February at the RAK Exhibition Centre. After the official opening, the crown prince, accompanied by chairman of the RAK Chamber Yussuf Al Nuaimi and other officials, toured various stalls of the Book fair, which is participated by over 70 publishing houses from UAE, other Arab and foreign countries. The crown prince commended the excellent organization of the event and the extensive participation of local, Arab and international publishing houses, which have enriched the 6th edition of the RAK Book Fair with a wide and colorful array of literary, cultural, religious, scientific, social, historical, geographical, and narrative books and publications, among others. In a statement made on this occasion, the crown prince said that the diversity and great number publishing houses, as well as the participation of various government departments, corporations and private companies from all over the UAE, provides decisive proof about the success of the previous sessions of the Exhibition.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2012.
