ArabFinance: The Commercial International Bank Egypt’s (CIB) (COMI) consolidated profits excluding minority interest rose to EGP 13.272 billion in 2021, from EGP 10.238 billion in 2020, according to consolidated financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.
The bank’s net interest income declined to EGP 24.965 billion in the full year ended December 31st 2021, from EGP 25.172 billion in the year before.
Moreover, CIB’s standalone net profits after taxes grew to EGP 13.420 billion in 2021, from EGP 10.299 billion in 2020, the bank’s financial statements showed.
CIB provides banking services across the country through more than 200 branches and units. The bank's segments include corporate banking, investment banking, retail banking, treasury and capital market services, and others.
