New chief operating officers (CEOs) of four Dubai government hospitals have been appointed. The newly appointed CEOs will take charge of their office shortly.

Dr. Alya Saif Al Mazrouei has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of Rashid Hospital, Dr Abdulrahman Mohammed Saleh Al Jassmi, as CEO of Dubai Hospital, Dr Muna AbdulRazzaq Tahlak as CEO of Latifa Hospital and Dr Moza Ajaif Al Zaabi as CEO of Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital.

Essa Al Maidoor, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, are in line with the vision of the future needs of Dubai and that development of health services in the Emirate is of vital importance particularly because healthcare is a fundamental service that touches the lives of everyone in Dubai.

The vision of Sheikh Mohammed and his directives are aimed to ensure provision of health services of international standards.

Al Maidoor said the appointment of the new CEO's for government hospitals in Dubai is in line with the vision of the DHA to further develop the health sector. He said the authority aims to ensure excellence in administration and provision of healthcare services that are at par with international standards.

Al Maidoor said the DHA has recently implemented a Future Leaders Training Programme for several of its employees across all areas of healthcare with the aim of developing their hospital management skills and to ensure they are at par with the latest management methods.
