Shafaq News / Canadian Foreign Minister , John Baird arrived to Erbil in Kurdistan region, and it is due to hold talks with senior officials of the Kurds, led by President of the region, Massoud Barzani on Thursday.
Shafaq News / Canadian Foreign Minister , John Baird arrived to Erbil in Kurdistan region, and it is due to hold talks with senior officials of the Kurds, led by President of the region, Massoud Barzani on Thursday.
"Shafaq News" reporter in Erbil said that the Canadian Minister was received in Erbil International Airport on Wednesday evening, by the official in the Department of Foreign Relations in the regional government, Falah Mustafa.
Mustafa said in a press statement that it is scheduled for John Baird (today) Thursday to meet President of Kurdistan Region , Massoud Barzani and senior officials in the region.
Baird has arrived on Wednesday to Baghdad, accompanied by a Canadian parliamentary delegation, where he met with each of the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs , Hoshyar Zebari and the Iraqi prime minister-designate Haider al-Abadi.
