Damascus - International Exhibition for Building , Buildex 2009, was opened yesterday with the participation of 617 companies from 52 countries specialized in building materials such as ceramics , baths, pipes , water treatment , heating and air conditioning in addition to building machines , marble , stones, Granite and equipment.
Minister of Housing and Building , Omar Ghalawanji, told reporters following the opening ceremony that the housing sector had developed remarkably in the past three years and growth recorded 22 percent ,i.e. SP.75 billions.
