* Building new Dramix plant, taking majority stake in steel wire business in Costa Rica
* Acquisition of majority shares of ArcelorMittal steel wire plant in Costa Rica
* Raising share from 45% to 100% in Cimaf ropes plant in Brazil
* In Costa Rica, Bekaert will acquire 73% of the steel wire activity of ArcelorMittal, who will retain 27%
* In Brazil, Bekaert will acquire 55% of Cimaf ropes plant, which is now part of Belgo Bekaert Arames
* If transaction comes into effect as of April 2014, impact on 2014 consolidated sales is estimated at about EUR 50 million
