Beirut (APD) - Bosnia-based Energoinvest Company, announced that it has signed a 23 million euro contract with Algeria for the construction of an electric power station and a port, the pan-Arab daily ASHARQ AL-AWSAT reported Tuesday.
In addition to Algeria, Energoinvest is also working on projects in Libya, totaling 25 million euros and comprising the development and expansion of an industrial river.
A number of Bosnian firms have previously signed $500 million worth of contracts with the Libya, the daily said.
It is important to note that, in addition to Energoinvest, Bosnia boasts big oil and construction companies that participated in projects in a number of Arab countries, mainly Libya, Iraq, Algeria, and Kuwait.
Energoinvest is multidisciplinary engineering company with dominant export orientation. Its manufacturing core businesses in the fields of electrical power, power transmission lines and machines and process equipment enable the company for execution of complex plants on "turn key" basis. [SN-FC-MH]
