Bayanat for Mapping and Surveying Service, a fast-growing UAE-based geospatial, data analytics and AI company, is set to showcase its smart city solutions at a key event in Abu Dhabi which will be attended by 400 specialists, experts, strategists and policy makers.
 
The 2nd Abu Dhabi Smart City Summit beginning tomorrow (November 23), bringing together more than 25 local and federal government agencies, and 400 specialists, experts, officials, leaders, strategists and policy makers, as well as governmental and private organisations.
 
During the two-day event, attendees will get to hear from various members of Bayanat’s leadership, who will talk about the company’s progress and aspirations to bring smart cities to life - including Bayanat’s advancements in AI, High Altitude Pseudo Satellite (HAPS), and geospatial technology.
 
Announcing its robust presence, Bayanat CEO Hasan Al Hosani said it will be playing a key role at the summit as a platinum sponsor.
 
Al Hosani will be deliver a keynote on the future of transportation and the benefits of AI enabled transportation. Additionally, Bayanat’s Director of AI Solutions, Khaled Al Marzooqi, will participate in a panel discussion on “Understanding & Preparing for the Future of Inter City Mobility & Traffic” and Bayanat’s Director of Space and Environmental Solutions, Dr. Prashanth Marpu, will lead a discussion about Bayanat’s investment in space and satellite technology as a tool in pioneering technology in the smart cities of tomorrow.
 
The event will see leading government and private entities collaborate and discuss upcoming projects and technological requirements to support Abu Dhabi’s vision of becoming a leading global Smart City a reality, it stated.
Conference attendees will also be able to visit Bayanat’s stand to learn how its AI-powered geospatial intelligence is bringing game-changing advantages to a growing number of sectors, including transportation and autonomous vehicles.

Recently, the company had unveiled plans to launch a maiden flight of its HAPS, a remotely piloted and solar powered aircraft, designed for the long-term monitoring of the Earth's surface.
Now, at the Smart City Summit, Bayanat will be making an announcement about autonomous vehicles that will utilize HAPS and geospatial intelligence to advance smart cities, he added.
