Egypt - Banque Misr announced that the delay of paying debt dues is effective for six months unless the client requests to pay installments as originally scheduled, according to a press release.

The bank has delayed the installments of all kinds of loans starting March, as directed by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on March 16th.

However, clients of Banque Misr who want to pay the installments without any postponement can fill an E-form on the bank’s website.

The clients can also request not to delay the installments by texting on the WhatsApp number 0020219888 to be directed to the E-form.

In addition, Banque Misr can receive all these requests on 19888 hotline, email, Facebook page or at branches.

It is worth noting that Banque Misr said its small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) portfolio reached EGP 30.8 billion by the end of February.
